Files, uploads and the trash
Create, move and upload files, drag and drop, file limits by plan, and restoring deleted files from the trash.
Working with files
The explorer works like a file manager: select several files (Shift or Ctrl/⌘ + click), cut and paste, drag them into any folder, rename with F2, and delete. On a phone, long-press a file to drag it.
Uploads
Drag files from your computer onto the explorer, or use Upload. Up to 25 files at once, 5 MB each. Files the editor can open are up to 2 MB of text; bigger files and binary files (images, fonts) are stored and can be downloaded.
Limits by plan
| Plan | Files per project | Workspace storage |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 300 | 100 MB |
| Pro | 1,500 | 1 GB |
| Team | 5,000 | 500 MB per seat |
Storage includes each project's Git history. The status bar shows how much is used.
The trash
Deleted files go to the trash for 7 days. Open it from the explorer (or More → Trash on a phone) and choose Restore. After 7 days they're gone for good.
Download a project
More → Download as .zip (or the project's page) downloads every file.
