Lost your second factor
No phone and no backup codes? Recover your account with a 24-hour wait that you can cancel from any signed-in device.

First, check what you still have
- A backup code (the ten you saved when you turned on two-factor) works in place of the authenticator.
- A passkey on any of your devices signs you in without a code at all.
- A browser you ticked Trust this browser on may still skip the code.
Account recovery
If none of those work:
- Sign in with your password as usual. On the two-factor screen choose Lost your second factor?.
- We email you a code. Entering it starts a 24-hour wait.
- During the wait, every signed-in device shows a red "Someone is recovering your account" banner with Cancel, and the email has a single-use cancel link — so if it isn't you, the real owner can stop it.
- After 24 hours, sign in with your password again. Two-factor and your backup codes are removed, and every other session is signed out.
- Turn two-factor on again straight away, with your new phone.
KODEO support can't skip the wait or turn two-factor off for you from a ticket or an email — only this flow can. That protects you from someone pretending to be you.
